In the era of the death of print media, Blog Weekly magazine or 博客天下 (Bo Ke Tian Xia), whose first issue came out today, seems a breath of fresh air and a forward-looking way to combine new and old media.
Ads for the magazine have highlighted China's 230 million netizens who are currently active on bulletin board forums, making it the largest online population in the world.
"In an era of blogs, everyone's a journalist," Danwei's translation of the ad reads.
Funny thing is, I tried to find the magazine's website today in order to link to it. Numerous news article about the new magazine appeared, but ironically it seems there's no website yet.
