It seems like nearly every sport and game has its own world championship; mahjong is no different. The World Championship of Mahjong was held this week Chongqing. China, according to ChinaSMACK.

What is interesting about the competition is that 80 of the 188 players were foreigners, many studying at Peking University and Tsinghua University in Beijing. While many foreigners enjoy the game, the world championships has historically been won by Chinese players. This year's winner has not been announced.

Think you have what it takes to compete against the world's best players? Learn how to play mahjong; a highly addictive tile-based, four player game.

I just started learning Mahjong with my wife (she is Chinese). It is quite a bit more fun that I previously realized!

When I initially commented I clicked the “Notify me when new comments are added” checkbox
and now each time a comment is added I get several e-mails with the same comment.
Is there any way you can remove people from that service?
Thanks a lot!
