When the New Century Global Centre opens in Chengdu, China later this year, it will be the world's tallest building. Currently under constructions, officials say it will open in April, according to CNN.
The 100-meter-tall marina-themed building will house offices, shopping malls, restaurants, theater, and an artificial beach. The building has been built at a fast rate; ground was broken in 2010. Here's hoping the structure holds up better than the aquarium in Shanghai that ruptured recently.
