Giant Panda, the Top Ten List

You can quite often spot a panda toy in a store or you may have seen a giant panda on TV. However you probably have not seen a panda even in the zoo. There are only about 1,000 of giant pandas left in the wild. The giant panda is one of the most endangered species in the world.

The giant panda is called Daxiongmao in Chinese (see the characters under the title), which means large bear cat. The wild giant panda only exists in the mountains in southwestern China.
