| NATO Bombed the Chinese Embassy in Yugoslavia | |
Dateline: 5/9/99
The Embassy of the People's Republic of China was
attacked by NATO using three missiles from different angles, which killed at least three Chinese and
injured more than 20. The building of the embassy was seriously damaged.
The following Chinese journalists were killed in the bombing:
Shao Yunhuan, of Xinhua News Agency, Xu Xinghu and his wife, Zhu
Ying, reporters at Guangming Daily (from left to right).
