Chinese culture has several flowers that represent the four seasons:

  • Spring: iris, magnolia
  • Summer: peony, lotus
  • Autumn: chrysanthemum
  • Winter: plum, bamboo

Chinese Culture has several flowers that represent the Months:

  • Second lunar month: apricot
  • Third lunar month: peach blossom
  • Sixth lunar month: lotus
  • Eighth lunar month: cinnamon blossom
  • Ninth lunar month: chrysanthemum

Some Flower Colors Have Special Meanings:

  • Pink and Red: celebration, good luck and happiness
  • White: death and ghosts
