Description
Guide Review - The Shaolin WorkoutMaster (or Shifu) Shi Yan Ming is a 34th-generation warrior monk from Shaolin Temple, China. He has been teaching Chinese martial arts in the United States since 1994. The workout teaches the basics of Kung Fu, i.e., stretches, stances, poses, punches, and kicks, presented in 28 lessons. The photos of Master Shi's demonstrations in each session are very useful for learning the lessons. Meditation is also an important part of Chinese martial arts, emphasized by Master Shi in the book. The book is useful for anyone who is interested in Chinese martial arts. It is mainly for beginners and it may be used by experts as a reference book. But if you are looking for some advanced techniques, you will need to learn them from a good master in person. Related Guide PicksSuggested Reading |
