China Study Abroad: Higher Education in Shanghai for Non-Chinese Speakers

A variety of China study abroad programs from Mandarin to business administration are offered in Shanghai for foreigners – even those who don’t speak a word of Chinese.

China Europe International Business School:

Since 1994, China Europe International Business School has offered MBA and EMBA programs in Chinese and English.

Fudan University (复旦大学):

Located 30 minutes north of Shanghai, Fudan University has a focus on the humanities with a variety of graduate courses in English. Programs include a double master’s degree program in global media and communication between London School of Economics and Political Science and Fudan University and master’s degrees in Chinese society and Chinese business law.

IFA Paris Shanghai:

Budding fashion designers can hone their skills at IFA Paris Shanghai while earning the same degree as graduates of the Academie Internationale de Coups de Paris. Classes are conducted in English.

Rutgers Business School (新泽西州立大学):

Rutgers offers a 14 month Executive MBA programme taught in English by Rutgers faculty.

Shanghai Jiaotong University (上海交通大学):

Jiaotong University is known for its engineering and science programs but offers short-term and long-term Chinese classes.

Washington University-Fudan University Executive MBA:

This 18-month joint executive MBA program awards an MBA degree from Washington University in St. Louis and a certificate from Fudan University’s School of Management. Students attend classes once a month at Fudan University’s School of Management. The program ends with a two-week session at Washington University in St. Louis.
