The Shennong Stream, located in Badong County, is one of the 'lesser gorges' along the Yangtze River. When cruising the Three Gorges, it is a good idea to also see one of the streams. The water is clear and you feel quiet here.
The name of the stream came from the legendary Chinese ancestor, Shennong, as believed who was once lived in this area.
